Summer (birthday/school)

So I only have two weeks left before this little baby comes...I have been trying to get things ready and things I have wanted done before he comes. I shaped up his room, Detroit got kicked out of it a few months back and is now in the guest bedroom, but I shaped that room up now too, so its Detroits room now, not a guest room. He just sleeps on a huge bed, and takes up a little corner over it, kinda funny. The crib is back to being a crip, not a toddler bed, and its got a temporary name hanging above it, it may change, we'll see. Diesel's room even got a little better. His dressers has been broken for a while now, it was a piece, so he got a new one. HE LOVES it. I had his clothes in bins, now that they are in drawers he loves to pack them away. He goes into the dryer before I get to it and takes his things out and goes upstairs and folds them and puts them in there little spots. It is cute, it also worries me. He is a little obsessive. It has to be just so or we cant leave or go anywhere, we have to wait for him, I bought him a shoe holder too so now every pair of shoes has to be in there, not at the front door, not one pair, they all have to be in the shoe holder. He is very particular. About what he wears too and his shoelaces have to be a certain way?!... Anyway, so they all have their own special rooms now, I try to keep the boys out of the baby room cuz they like to go in there and play in the crib, but they have brought stuff in there for him.. I found a little backpack in there yesterday, diesel gave him detroits old mini-backpack now that they both have big ones for school. And detroit brought him in a couple little balls...very cute. found them in the swing and he told me about them. Also trying to get the trampoline net up before he gets here but its on backorder for the 15th so I dont know if that will happen. Id like to know the boys are zipped in a net out there if I cant be paying attention. They like to jump with the hose now so it gets pretty slippery, detroit has caused a few scares, he is one crazy kid, diesel is much more cautious, its funny seeing their differences now that detroit is getting older. They both love going to the movie theater, more than my mom, and thats saying a lot. We saw how to train your dragon 3 times, and we just saw shrek in 3d, they kept there glasses on maybe half the time. which reminds me, i didnt get diesels bday on here, he wanted astroboy and how to train your dragon for his bday, so i mixed it...he was sure he wanted an astroboy cake so that made it easier since there is no astroboy bday decorations, its even hard to find astroboy toys. but there was dragon decorations so it worked good! We blew out his cake and opened presents in the morning...diesel and detroit each ate a cloud..saved astroboy for when his friends came over...

..i made 2 more round chocolate cakes in case there wasnt enough, i didnt really need to but some people wanted chocolate so it worked out good cuz astroboy was vanilla. Everyone brought presents which I was hoping they wouldn't cuz he ended up literally opening presents all day long...he woke up in the morning to our presents, then Curtis took him to a golf shop to grab some new, slightly bigger clubs (ended up getting a great deal on tiger woods clubs, they are pretty sweet, so is the bag) since detroit has taken over his old ones and they fight over them. Then when we got home, grandma and grandpa milams package arrived ups so he opened that, then he napped and when he woke up grandma and grandpa taylors package arrived us postal so he opened that. Then all his friends showed up and brought presents so he opened those! I said come over for cake and ice cream and they all bring presents. Thank you guys for the present diesel loved them, Im just afraid he might be disappointed next bday when that doesnt happen again...hopefully he forgets! or maybe we will wait til night to open everything at one time, i dont know, whaddo you do?! then he got some gifts the following couple days from aunt/uncles/cousins. Most of them are all in his closet still in a special bag that detroit isnt allowed to touch. poor guy, he doesnt understand why he doesnt get any astroboy toys, i better go get him some! he does still have the one from mcdonalds he got a while back but diesel trys to sneak off with it when detroit isnt paying attention to go hide it and keep it, little punk.

anyway..

the newest thing is the boys started school this past week, we decided diesel needed to start school, hes been begging to for a long time now. figured it be good to get him out of detroits hair too, hes so controlling with him, detroit needs a life. so we went school hunting a couple weeks ago and curtis thought detroit would be sad if he didnt get to go to school too. so we found a montessori school that we liked and they are in different classes so they will have some time away from eachother. turns out diesel loves that part, detroit-not so much. he wants to go to diesels class! hes never been without diesel when he has been left without curtis and i...so he is adjusting, but i think it will be good for him, he needs to find his own identity. curtis let him stay home friday cuz he didnt want to go so he got to hang out here with me and no diesel...HE HAD a blast! he played and played making sound affects and playing with the toys the way he wanted to not the way diesel wanted him to! it was cute, he went into diesels room and got out that special bag i talked about that detroit isnt aloud to touch, brought it by me and started playing with all of it, lovin it! we cleaned it up and put it back before we picked diesel up at 3 so he wont ever know! diesel just loves his school, he doesnt wanna leave when i go get him, and detroit is so excited to see me and go home! they do a cute little swim thing on fridays so detroit missed out, but diesel loved it and told us about it! they blow up a bunch of raft pools and slip and slides and let em all go nuts i guess. i love when he comes home and his lunch that i made is eaten, hes been saving the fruit snacks for when he gets home, which i think is kinda funny. detroit eats most of his, he does a pretty good job. i must say it has been i nice little break for me. i get to have some alone time before this baby comes, this week i pretty much chilled out at home, enjoying the peace and quite in my own home...different cuz when a sitter comes you go out to crowds or whatever...so it was a nice little week for me, next week i might try to get a few more things done before the baby gets here, and before you know it, he'll be here and then ill get to spend some time with just him while D and d are at school. it'll be nice, especially if Detroit starts liking school more. If he doesnt i might just take him out and he can hang out with me and the baby. we will see!

this is where Detroit parked himself friday morning sayin he didnt want to go to school...so he layed there for a half hour while curtis took diesel to school and i showered and got ready for the day...
