Thank you for all the help to our parents and friends and families! Phoenix is 5 weeks today and he already weighs a healthy 12 1/2 lbs. We grow em fat and fast around here. My neighbor said she has never seen a newborn with a double chin!? I thought they all had no neck but who knows. Im goin to bed but thought I should write some stuff down before I forget. Phoenix has just started to wake up this last week, pretty much slept for a whole month, well, woke up to eat ever two hours, but slept the rest. So now we are starting to see his eyes and funny expressions. He is pretty gasy so he grunts a ton. Sometimes at night he will sleep for 3 hours straight and let me get some sleep, but thats about as long as he can go without eating, he might be reaching 4 hours, it all gets blurred together-I wake up with him on me sometimes in the middle of the night and cant remember what happened, of course i fell asleep feeding him but I just don't remember so its weird waking up with him half on me. He sleeps in his bassinet in our bathroom for the most part now, he grunts so loud that I had to move him in there and we keep the bathroom fan on to drowned out the noise. I will get some pictures on here soon...he sure is cute. Detroit loves getting in his face and petting his head. Diesel likes when he is awake and he looks at him. he says look mom hes lookin at me, hes makin a funny face! It will just get more fun and interesting... cant wait for more sleep!....
