Beautiful Washington/ Detroit's Bday

Curtis came up with the idea to take a little trip last month...it was all his idea so I had to take him up on it. He suggested he take Diesel and Detroit on a road trip with him up to Idaho, in the car...while I fly to Seattle with baby Phoenix and then they could fly over to Seattle and meet up with us there for a few days and then we could all fly back together to texas. So, he drove with his brother Jordan to Utah where they worked and visited some friends for a few days. Curtis parents came down to Utah to play with the kids (thank you) and take them back to Idaho(thank you) so he could go to the BYU vs. UW game. He also got to sneek a quick Windover trip in! Then he went up and met back up with the boys in Idaho where he worked and the boys got to play with there cousins, uncles, and grandparents for a week.....all this time Phoenix and I were in Seattle just enjoying the peace together and visiting friends, brothers and grandparents. It even happened that I was in town for Jocelyn's wedding so I got to go see her in her beautiful dress on her day! It was sooo pretty, need to get some pictures on here from my phone. She got married on pier 66 overlooking the ocean, and her reception was at Salty's also on the ocean..so that was cool and she looked very happy! Anyway, so I got a break from the crazies for about 10 days..I missed them abunch but it was really nice to hang out with Phoenix and see some friends. So then Curtis, Diesel and Detroit flew over and met up with us in Seattle. We went straight to the cabin, Scott and his kids went with us too, then grandma and grandpa made it out. We also got to go to a seahawks game with Donny and Emily (Scott watched the kids for us..thank you, and grandma and grandpa played with Phoenix..thank you)...so that was really fun! also got to golf Washington National on a nice perfect, sunny day! So our two weeks was up and we flew home, Jordan had been making his way back to texas from idaho with our car while we were in seattle so he picked us up at the airport and it worked out perfect! Very very fun, much needed trip for me, Curtis said he had fun with the boys too, so all around, nice little trip!

Seahawks game

see the space needleMason Lake..so pretty, but a little cold this yearHm..maybe I'll get to drive myself Cali and Detroit playin...she looks too pretty for her own good
Uncle Scott took us on our first rideWe love the old school super nintendoDetroit asked for a purple dragon cake this year, this is all I could come up with..turned out ok...the claws fell off when I tried to do them with cake and black icing, so I brainstormed a little and used a few hershey bars (with almonds). They loved eating the claws!

That dragon tries to bite you if you touch his nose, prr's when you touch his back, and spits water at you when you touch his teeth, so Detroit thought it was a pretty cool cake cuz he got to have the dragon...Diesel asked me to make him a dragon cake for his next birthday with"Toothless" so I will be keeping my eye out for a Toothless toy!
