The boys were real excited about Christmas this year. They helped me decorate and wrap presents. It probably took more time with their help then it would of without, but they had fun and I thought it was cute! They were really helpful with putting presents under the tree...that they were real good at. Diesel somehow memorized the presents that I told him were to him. He studied them I guess cuz when I took them to Seattle with us and put them under Grandma and Grandpas tree, with all the tons of others, that had some of the same wrapping paper and same size boxes, he still new which ones were his. I even wrapped one the same exact way in the same exact box, one was to him and one was to Emily, he knew the difference?! So he was real into presents this year. A little help from me steps in, he had the top of the tree going as the base...

Baby number 3 is...

We cheated again and went to fetal photos.. we brought the boys in to watch. Diesel asked me if the guy was gonna break open my belly to look at the baby. He said he wanted a sister. Hes getting another brother! He asked me if i was gonna push it out of my stomache so he could see him tomorrow. I told him it would be a while, unfortunately!

Diesel's Mind

I explained to Diesel that we were gonna make him another brother/sister. He said he wanted another Diesel. Then he said he had a Diesel in his tummy too. So the other day im driving home and diesels gasps and says, mom did you hear that..i say, hear what, what did you hear, he says...i heard the baby cry, he wants to come out and say hi, did you hear him. Then I explained to him that its gonna be a while and i was gonna get bigger first. Then he told me that he was gonna have his Diesel come out and say hi tomorrow. So i dont know if he quite gets it. im excited to see what he does when my belly starts stickin out, and i really wanna see how he is with it when it comes out to say hi. If its a girl, i wonder if he'll be disappointed?! i wonder what detroit will do too, as of now i dont know if he'll pay any attention to it, but we've got a ways to go! hopefull i can get detroit potty trained before then, thad be awesome.



I started telling Diesel about Santa Claus at bedtime a couple days ago. We put some decorations up and he's getting all excited about when Christmas is gonna open. We were at the mall saturday and i took him thru Pennys to use the bathroom, it took us 20 minutes cuz he had to analyze all the christmas decorations they had on display to and from the bathroom. Anyway, back to santa. I told him that we have to set him out cookies and milk the night before christmas so that he will come in and snack on em and then deliver the presents. I told him about how santa is fat cuz he eats all those cookies and junkfood around christmas.....so the next day he grabed a back of chips out of the pantry and asked, mom, if i eat these am i gonna get fat? Now he asks me before everything he eats.. these strawberries wont make me fat, these make my tummy feel good. these fruit roll ups junkfood? yeah.. they wont make me fat though, they make my tummy feel good, they make detroit fat. is detroit fat?.. anyway, he makes me laugh with all the stuff he says!

Happy Halloween

Diesel was a transformer and Detroit was a skeleton for halloween. I let them pick out there own costumes. I thought they did a pretty good job. We went to Astroboy the day before halloween though and diesel wanted to switch to astroboy so he could fly! He's catching onto things now, its pretty funny. Oh and diesel picked out the pumkin goblin on the right and helped carve it, sort of!

Summer

Its not hot enough to go to the pool anymore, but I wanted to put this move on here that Detroit got pretty good at this summer, he did that all the way across then he would come back, had bruises on his legs all summer, still has em, wonder when they will go away! Maybe they are from diesel and not the pool?!!

Seattle/Spokane trip

We went up to Seattle and Spokane in august to visit my family and go to Matthews wedding...

I would like to know what zya and diesel are talking about hereand what diesel and brezlyn are doing here
We shared a hotel room with thomas and kelli after the wedding and the kids had a lot of fun together...

detroit and brezlyn got some good air on the bedswe spent a lot of time in airports on this trip... this was coming back from spokane to seattle, detroit found himself a nice little place on the floor to get some coloring donei thought this picture was funny, if you look at detroit and josh...they are in the same position, donny and curtis are carrying them the same way...curtis is bigger with detroit and donny is smaller with josh...they are a year and a half apart....curtis and donny are, lets see... 4 1/2 years apartthis ones funny too, 2 kids hangin in the air on both sides! im glad i got that picture, thats all the grandkidsgrandpa don was spraying everyone with the hose, they had a blastmom wanted a picture while we both were in boots...i sprained my ankle 2 weeks before this trip playing basketball, my mom had surgery on her foot to fix some bones 2 weeks 2 days before this trip...so we both had some pretty nice pain killers

Detroit 2

These pictures were taken a second apart, i click back and forth cuz i think its funny... this was his little dance i think since it was about to be his turn to jump to curtis in the pool! He's a funny kid, he has a little mean side that is coming out just recently that i dont know about! Diesel has always been a pretty nice kid, so im in new territory. He may just be lashing out at Diesel. He just figured out he can make Diesel cry now and he got a little taste and likes it i think!
